Beschreibung

A research trip to the impressive geology and its diverse phenomena in the Tectonic Arena Sardona. We learn a lot of interesting facts about the formation of the Alps, the 'Magic Dividing Line', the occurrence of typical rock layers and the retreat of the Sardona Glacier.

Experience the adventure of the formation of the Alps live on site with the "Sardona Aktiv". Access to WLAN is available at the Segnes visitor pavilion:

The Segneshütte, as one of the oldest mountain huts in the region at an altitude of 2100 meters, is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Tectonic Arena Sardona". It is considered a meeting place for hikers and skiers on its routes and, in addition to homemade Graubünden specialities, offers a spacious sun terrace and overnight accommodation.

Variant 1:

By car to Flims Bergbahnen (parking available). Continue with the chairlift to Naraus and from there 1.5h on foot to the Segneshütte.

Variant 2:

By car to Laax Bergbahnen (parking spaces available). From Laax Bergbahnen with the shuttle bus to Nagens and from there approx. 30 minutes on foot to the Segneshütte.
