An alluvial plain grows slowly

After the Flims landslide closed the valley with a rock wall, the lower Segensboden slowly filled with rock debris from all sides. The many side rubble compartments also contributed to this. Once in the plain, the rocks are evenly distributed throughout the area by ever new streams.
