Zalöner Alp-Runde

The start is at the parish hall in Safien Platz. First you follow the main road into the valley for a few meters and branch off onto the road to Zalön. You are already in the long ascent. Soon you leave the road and walk on the hiking trail to Innerzalön. After a short stretch of asphalt road, the trail zigzags through the forest up to the Zalöner Hütta. The beautiful ensemble of huts is a contemporary witness to the former agricultural management of the Walser. In addition, most of the roofs are still covered with wooden shingles. The view of the mighty Piz Beverin is already magnificent. The trail continues uphill in the direction of Güner Lückli. At the crossroads at 2,200 m above sea level, follow the hiking trail to the Camaner Hütta. The Safiental mountains are a constant companion on the panoramic path high above the valley floor. Arriving at the Camaner Hütta, which are embedded in the landscape as if strung on a string, it goes along the Walserweg Safiental via Camanaboda and Hof back to Safien Platz.
