Beschreibung

We hike on the asphalted road of the Vorderrhein power plant, which is closed to traffic, to the dam wall in Val Curnera. The slope is steady and pleasant. At point 1984 we find a bench where we take our first break with a beautiful view of Tschamut. Now the path leads into the Val Curnera and with the binoculars we may see the radiators at work on the opposite side. The valley is very rich in minerals and extraordinary crystal finds are made here again and again. Do not be alarmed if there is blasting. Nothing happens to us on our side. At point 2039 we are higher than the dam wall and an easy descent begins. Arrived at the crown of the dam we can see to the back of the valley where we can recognize some alps. The way back follows the same route
