The winter hike from Stafel to Obermutten offers a magnificent view of the Albula Valley, the peaks of Lenzerheide and Obervaz. The snow packs the already low wooden houses and stables on the Stafel as if in cotton wool and enchants the whole landscape.

From Obermutten, a second, short winter hiking trail leads to the small wooden church and further on the ridge to the fork in the road at the water reservoir (1900 m). The view of the Schams and the Albula Valley is overwhelming.

Anreise Information
On the A13, take exit 22-Thusis-Süd towards Thusis-Süd/St. Moritz/Tiefencastel/Davos/Sils i.D. Turn left towards Albula until the Solas/Solis junction. From the junction at Schynstrasse at the Soliserbrücke you can reach Mutten comfortably and safely on the newly created access road. From Mutten, via Stafel to Obermutten, the path continues on the old, romantic dirt road.
