San Bernardino

From the post office in San Bernardino, the path leads to a rope park and other sports facilities. You walk past it and get on the path around the lake. It is a forest road that leads very beautifully around the reservoir Lago d'Isola of San Bernardino. Shortly before the dam you turn off and walk over the dam wall. Then follow a paved road back along the lake towards the village. After about 500 meters you cross a bridge that crosses the national road. Follow this road until you reach the old cantonal road. Here you change the side of the road and follow the signs towards Lagh de Pian Doss. After crossing the holiday home settlement, the view opens up to a beautiful moor landscape. A very welcoming place to have a picnic by the lake. The hike then leads back a bit to a well. From there you can follow the hiking trail on the left. This ends in a neighborhood street of San Bernardino. Either the path leads along the road a bit upwards and you reach the valley station of the ski lift, or you go down to the cantonal road and walk on the pavement back to the San Bernardino post office.
