Lake Doss, located south of the town of San Bernardino, is a small alpine lake nestled in a peat basin and surrounded by alpine forest.

The lake is a rounded body of water, which can be reached in less than an hour from San Bernardino by following several marked itineraries. With a depth of 6 meters and located at an altitude of 1,600 meters, it constitutes a valuable ecosystem due to its characteristics as a shallow lake. The adjacent area is listed in the inventory of raised bogs of national importance. The lake is swimmable in summer and offers the opportunity to practice various water sports, including kayaking.
