In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

Weather-adapted clothing (rain jacket), possibly Change of clothes, first aid kit, drink, food, possibly Hiking poles.

By train via Chur or Göschenen

From Göschenen via Disentis or from Chur directly with the RhB to Rabius or Sumvitg/Cumpadials.

From Rabius train station it is about a 10-minute walk to the starting point. Please first turn left and then turn half right into the traffic-free road up to the village of Rabius. When you arrive at the main road, keep left and walk on the pavement for about 300 m to the Val Luven stream. There you turn right into the hiking trail, which leads you directly to the starting point of the Legend Trail.

Alternatively, the tour can also be started from Sumvitg (approx. 15 minutes on foot). At the Sumvitg/Cumpadials train station, follow the footpath up to the village of Sumvitg. When you reach the main road, keep right and walk through the village to the church and then a little further to the pedestrian crossing. Cross this and walk straight ahead to the north of the gravel road. A few meters further on is the overview board and you can start the Legend Trail there.

By car via Chur

3 or from St. Gallen on the N 13 to Chur and continue to the exit Reichenau direction Disentis/Ilanz/Flims to Rabius (train station) or Sumvitg (station Sumvitg/Cumpadials).

By car via Göschenen

From Basel on the N 2 via Lucerne to Göschenen, continue on the old pass road through the Schöllenen gorge to Andermatt and over the Oberalp Pass/Disentis to Sumvitg station Sumvitg/Cumpadials. (This is located below the village between Sumvitg and Cumpadials) or drive to Rabius to the train station.

Parking is available at Rabius station or Sumvitg/Cumpadials station.
