Safien Platz - Zalön - Hof - Safien Platz

In Safien Platz, the hiking trail first follows Zalöner Strasse up a bit until it turns left to a viewing bench and winds its way up through hay meadows to the edge of the forest. Back on the road, follow it to the left, and soon follow the hiking trail through the forest towards Innerzalön on the left. In zigzag it now goes through the moss-covered forest along the steep Platzer Tobels. Past many diligent ants in their large, considerable buildings and continue over a forest pasture up to the road. From here you follow the road to the left, which soon leads us through the Platzer Tobel to Bruschgaleschg. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of Safien Platz and the other side of the mountain with a view of the Piz Beverin and the Bruschghorn. Continue to the small hotel Nüwhus, where you cross the meadow to a small, narrow hiking trail that leads us through the Furrentobel. On the other side of the ravine we climb across the pasture to the farm, where we get back on the road. Soon afterwards we cut left again towards Safien Platz, so that we get back to our starting point on the gently descending forest path.
