Ausstellung BergeBeben - BergeStürzen
This Exhibition shows newly prepared insights into the topic of earthquakes in connection with the formation of mountains in the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona.

Beschreibung

The exhibition "BergeBeben - BergeStürzen" in the mountain village of Vättis explores the past and present earthquakes and landslides in the World Heritage cantons of Graubünden, St. Gallen and Glarus.

The connection between earthquakes, landslides and the formation of mountains, especially the Alps, is also addressed.

A highlight of the exhibition is the live transmission of recordings from seismic stations of the Swiss Seismological Service, a volume comparison of the largest regional landslides and impressive videos of rockfall, rockslide and landslide events.
