In the past, there was the Tavanasa mountain run. Unfortunately, this is history, but here we show you an attractive bike tour from Brigels, which runs mostly on the old race track. On foot, more than 600 meters in altitude are not a "lick", but with the bike, or even the e-bike, you can definitely speak of enjoyment.

If you start the tour from Brigels - alternatively also possible from Tavanasa or Rueun - you may first destroy 500 meters of altitude. Most of them on single trails. Just before Tavanasa, we will take you along a short trail that is usually only ridden by locals. Then we continue along the Polenweg. Slightly downhill on a comfortable gravel road. At Rueun you cross the covered wooden bridge built in 1839 and must, or may, now steadily regain the altitude meters. Above the village, a quiet forest road branches off. Here you will meet other bikers in the best case, but more like a deer and cows grazing higher up. Finally, you roll over the beautiful Migliè plateau to the Lag da Breil and back to Brigels.

On the sun terrace of the hotel/restaurant Ucliva, water the pre-end of the tour.
This tour can often be taken early in the spring. The snow will probably lie longest in the forest between Rueun and Waltensburg. There are icy spots to watch out for on the shady Polenweg.

In case of uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the tour, you should turn back in time.
