The wooden bridge in

Rueun is the oldest covered wooden bridge in the canton of Graubünden and is a cantonal monument protection. The bridge crosses the Vorderrhein a little east of Rueun station. At its southern exit it joins the Polenweg.

Beschreibung

The contract for the construction of the wooden bridge in Romansh also Punt da Rueun was signed on 28 December 1839 by the builders from Bonaduz at the price of 5550 florins; at that time around 435 francs.

For a trip into nature, the Poland Trail. It runs along the Rhine from Ilanz to Tavanasa and was built between 1940 and 1945 by interned Polish soldiers. Commemorative plaques and a wayside shrine at the western end of Plaun Grond remind us of this.
