Lonely hike with beautiful views of the Fanella Valley / rear Peiltal, Wenglispitz, Chilchalphorn, Fanellahorn and Fanell Glacier.
Geheimtipp
Enjoy a café in the sun at Kiosk Peil. Or fresh goat's cheese from the Geissalp next door. Always an experience: the goats who return to the alp between 4 and 5 pm. Return to Vals also possible with the hiking bus.

From the parking lot of Restaurant Zerfreila to Lake Guraletsch. East of the lake without path, but marks the steep slope under the Guraletschhorn about 150 meters in altitude, then south over scree to the gap east of the Fanellahorn summit, the Fanellgrätli (2712 m). The descent into the Fanella Valley takes place on a steep slope without a path, but marked, over alpine pastures to the Stafel Fanellalap and in front there on a path to Peil to the kiosk. There on the Peilerstrasse and over this back to Vals.
