The two beautifully situated villages are located on the south side of the Surselva between 1200 and 1300 meters above sea level. So you can expect a lot of sun on an easy winter hiking trail.

Beschreibung

The start of the hike is in Falera. The winter hike then continues in the culturally significant Ruschein. The church hill was already a place of worship and sacrifice in pagan. After a short ascent you can enjoy the surrounding mountains in Siat.  Siat is home to an architectural highlight – the architect Gion A. Caminada, who is known beyond the country's borders, built the Ustria Steila restaurant.

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.
