Starting at the Maloja cross-country skiing center, the trail first leads in the direction of the lake and then turns right to the Salecina vacation and education center via Pony. Then a wide forest path, which is also used by snowshoe hikers or ski tourers, leads up towards the lake. Again and again the trees thin out and reveal the view of the imposing Piz da la Margna. For all those who want to hike further: The winter trail is further tracked to Plan Canin. After a narrow passage, the valley opens up with views towards the Muretto Pass, Pizzi dei Rossi and the Forn Valley. Return to Orden on the outward path. From here, keep slightly to the right towards Kulm and then continue on the footpath to the starting point.
