Winter hike St. Antönien Rüti - Partnun

On foot you can reach the winter hiking trail in the direction of the hamlet of Partnun from the last PostBus stop St. Antönien Rüti. During the first 2/3 of the trail it goes uphill with a moderate incline, the last ascent lets the pulse then skyrocket a bit. The path is groomed up to the mountain houses and can be walked well with winter-suitable equipment (shoes / clothing). Snowshoeers and ski tourers will find a true paradise. The two mountain houses serve as base camps and offer a large selection of tours. But even without technical aids, Partnun is easy to reach, especially the hike is worthwhile twice. In both mountain houses you can spend the nights and enjoy the winter sun on the sun terraces. Fine, regional delicacies reward the ascent and make it difficult to set off again and drive down into the valley. The easiest way to do this is to rent a sledge in one of the mountain houses.
