The starting point of this hike is Wergenstein am Schamserberg, an idyllic mountain village at 1487 m above sea level with a magnificent view of the Val Schons.

Beschreibung
From Wergenstein the path leads only a short distance on the road in the direction of Mathon. On the left, the path branches off towards Lavanos/Dumagns. Follow the path to Dumagns at 1812 m above sea level. Catering and accommodation are available in Wergenstein. Wergenstein can be easily reached by PostBus from Andeer/Zillis. On the way you can also toboggan down.

Since the beginning of 2007, the Centre da Capricorns (Steinbock-Zentrum) has also been home to the Office for Tourism and Sustainable Development (TNE) of Wädenswil University of Applied Sciences (HSW).
