Wartau legends and history path

The Wartau Legends and Stories Trail is a playful learning trail with great adventure potential for families, school classes, hikers and bikers. It takes you on 12 km in about 4 hours past 20 legends and trail signs. These address all historically significant points and paths of the Political Municipality of Wartau. The focus is on the four main themes: Walser, Wartau Castle Hill, "Artillery Fort Magletsch" and Schollberg. Other topics are also covered, such as the history of the spa houses, the unique botany, the history of language, regional geology, the "Procha Castle" or the village fires. In the spirit of a "File Rouge", the rich treasure trove of legends was thematized and processed and – as far as possible – placed in a direct historical consensus.
