The tour starts in the area "Hof" on Vorderstels, about 50 m below the seminar hotel Stelserhof. The tour is suitable for beginners who want to familiarize themselves with the technique of snowshoeing, as well as for advanced connoisseurs who want to experience the breathtaking view of the snow-covered Rätikon chain on the snow-sure north side of the Stelser Berg. The route can be used as a starting point for extended snowshoe tours on the Stelser Berg.
The route leads with little difference in altitude over an alpine pasture area and offers no significant difficulties. Ideal for trying out snowshoes and for a short trip to another winter world.
