Via Son Giachen: Falera - Andiast

This stage of the Camino de Santiago, like many other sections, runs mainly over heights and thus allows a far-sightedness that obviously belongs closely to the idea of pilgrimage.
From Falera we hike up the Surselva on the sunny side of the valley and soon cross the Val da Cafegns, which even in summer channels meltwater from the large snow and ski area on our right down to the Anterior Rhine. Before Ladir we come across a little frequented road that takes us to Ruschein. Again on natural paths we cross the Val da Mulin and reach Siat. We climb further and cross over to Pigniu, in German Panix, and then cross the side valley there below the Panixer reservoir. From Cuolms you can see the dam.
On the other side of the side valley we continue to Andiast, from where we can enjoy the view over the Surselva again.
