From Ilanz you will pass the St. Martin Church of Ilanz and continue uphill to Luven. In Luven it is worth stopping by the Panera fireplace. At 48 metres, the Panera was the largest spruce in Switzerland. In 2018, however, she had to be felled due to illness. To this day, you can find remnants of the Panera at the fireplace.
After a few hundred metres of paved road, turn left onto a dirt road and hike up at the beginning, later slightly downhill to Cumbel. Shortly before the village, in Plaun Rueun, there is another cozy barbecue area. To your right is Piz Mundaun, in front of you is the Val Lumnezia with its beautiful natural and cultural landscape.
