Via Alpina nel Moesano - Passo Balniscio - B.tta Pianca Geneura

The Via Alpina enters the Moesano from the Balniscio pass, and after a steep descent, arrives at Pian San Giacomo. The route starts again with the stage 84 towards Selma, passing through Mesocco and climbing from here to Bocchetta di Trescolmen, then descending towards the homonymous alp and further down towards Valbella. The road on the valley floor continues taking us first to Rossa, then to Selma. The stage 85 starts from the small village of Calanchino climbing along the mule track that leads to Landarenca, the spectacular mountain village on a rock terrace, also reachable by cable car. The climb continues towards the Piöv Alp outside, and from there you take the steep valley in which flows the stream called as the overlying mouth. Pianca Geneura. The Moesan part of the Via Alpina ends here, but the trail is far from finished. in fact, it proceeds first in Ticino, then in Valais, then passing through Italy and France and flowing into the sea in Monaco.
