Valos reservoir

One such lake is the Valos reservoir. It holds 110,000 cubic metres of water. That's over eleven million litres. However, the water of the Valos reservoir is used very carefully: for example, the snow groomers in the Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports area are equipped with GPS systems that can measure the current snow depth. On the basis of such information, the slopes can be covered with snow in a targeted and resource-saving manner at the same time. In summer, the Valos reservoir is a popular place for families to stay. You are not allowed to swim in the lake, but there is a barbecue area and the Globi hiking trail in the immediate vicinity.
