Treasure chest in the Domleschg - guided tour of the Dusch Chapel

Slightly elevated above the hamlet of Dusch is the chapel of St. Mary Magdalene. On the ascent, the guest is greeted by a large St. Christopher of the Waltensburg master. Inside, the same workshop has depicted the life story of Mary Magdalene, which, thanks to the lighting conditions, comes into its own in a very special, medieval-looking way. In front of the chapel we enjoy the view of the Domleschg and the Heinzenberg.

Arrival by post bus to Paspels village, then on foot about 20 minutes to Dusch. Parking next to the Olgiati schoolhouse in Paspels, walk about 10 minutes. Those with limited mobility can park at the third bend of the road to Tomils and walk to the Dusch chapel on the Alte Transerstrasse at the same level. A nice hiking trail, about 20 minutes.
