Trailrun: Brigels - Frisal - Brigels

The best way to reach the start of the trail is by public transport. At Tavanasa-Breil/Brigels station, change from the train to the bus that goes to Brigels. Get off at Breil/Brigels Posta station. Now your tour can begin. After the initial stretch on a paved road you quickly reach the end of the village of Cuort. Before the bridge, a dirt road leads left along the river into the narrow valley. At the end of the forest path, follow the trail upstream. The trail leads you directly to the plateau Val Frisal. Here it is worth taking a break and enjoying the view. The flora and fauna in Val Frisal is unique and lies at the foot of a glacier.

The way back takes you up to Alp Nova Sura near the mountain ridge. Here you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the Val Frisal and in the direction of Brigels. From here it goes over the Alp Nova back down to the river where you come across the way and take the same route back to the starting point.

If you have enough time, you can make a detour to the valley basin of the Val Frisal, where you will discover unique colorful alpine meadows, a raised bog and the source of the Flem stream.
