Beschreibung

A constant up and down characterizes the first part of the tour from Brigels to the natural paradise of Ladral. After Andiast down, the brake discs reach operating temperature before it is the turn of the legs again on the ascent to the reservoir. After the well-deserved break at Lake Panix, it rushes comfortably down to the village of the same name - or as it is called in Romansh, Pigniu. From then on, the final climb leads back up to Brigels.

Geheimtipp

At the reservoir «Lag da Pigniu» you should definitely take the time to follow the gravel road to the end of the valley. The imposing, steep rock faces and the majestic waterfall let you once again feel the power of nature.

The tour is planned in such a way that the ascents are on gravel and the descents rather on solid ground. Of course, the lap can also be driven in the opposite direction. Another starting point is also possible, e.g. Rueun.

The lake is located two kilometers from the village of Pigniu. It is about 1.5 kilometers long and about 250 meters wide. It is fed by a few nameless mountain streams. An easy-to-walk hiking or walking path leads around the lake. It takes about an hour to circumnavigate it. On the west side, several large waterfalls plunge into the valley in the rear part.
