Beschreibung
The Schatzalp is also named "Zauberberg" (Magic Mountain) and still attracts numerous culture enthusiasts to Davos today, who go in search of clues to the settings of Thomas Mann's novel of the same name. The idyllic Schatzalp can be reached by the Schatzalp cable car from Davos, and you get already rewarded there with a fantastic view.
The route leads through the Alpinum with plants from all over the world up to the waterfall. Afterwards, the Sun Trail, with its well-deserved name, leads back to the Schatzalp via the Stafel Alp. The Strela Alp mountain restaurant is sun-drenched at 1,920 metres and offers traditional hospitality as well as a magnificent view of Davos and the surrounding mountains.
