storytelling coffee with Antonio Giacometti

The Museum Vaz/Obervaz will be showing works by the artist Silvio Giacometti from December 2024. Silvio Giacometti *1955 †2008 was related to the Giacometti family of artists from Bergell. His grandfather was a cousin of Giovanni Giacometti. He loved the forms of expression of the various cultural areas and tried to get to the bottom of them. He attended the Zurich School of Design while working, started his own work and gave up his job to make a living from painting and exhibitions alone. In 1999, he opened a painting school in Chur and also made a name for himself as a painting teacher in the canton of Graubünden. He last lived in Maloja and died of heart failure at the age of 52.
