Rhaetian Railway

Over 100 years ago, the Bernina line came into operation. The direct train between St. Moritz and Tirano ran for the first time in 1910: 61 kilometres of sophisticated construction engineering through the landscape from which the highest mountain in Graubünden rises. Every day Bernina Express trains offer a one-on-one rail pleasure with nature. The impressive glaciers of Palü and Morteratsch can almost be touched. At the same time, the red train seems to combine the Mediterranean dolce vita with the icy alpine beauty.
