Spaziergang zu den Wasser-Rädli in Clavaniev

We walk from the valley station of the cable car in a few bends through a pretty birch forest to the viewpoint Muntatsch. The children are already very excited about what awaits us at the Clavaniev stream and it is not far away. Even before we cross the stream we see them: the many, colorful and original water wheels! With a lot of love, diligence and patience, a local has made an entire system with water wheels over the course of a few years. The wheels turn and figures of various kinds move: flag-wavers, craftsmen and some others. We leave enough time to marvel and observe before we hike through the hamlet of Clavaniev in an arc back to the valley station.

This tour can also be done in rainy weather.

We walk from the valley station of the cable car is eastbound behind the Hotel Catrina Resort past to Muntatsch. Here a path branches off to the right, into Val Clavaniev. Right next to the Clavaniev stream you can find the water wheels. On the way back we cross the hamlet of Clavaniev in a southerly direction and before the main road we turn right. So we reach the valley station again on a side road, in front of the Catrina Resort
