Skulpturenweg Wiesen

The path Brüggatobel up to the upper Steig leads past breathtaking rocky landscapes, beautiful forests and a light blue mountain river, which offers itself as a perfect photo motif. The hike on the old Zügenweg offers variety in every respect – for families, nature lovers and pleasure hikers. 

From Glaris, the path leads right along a road that later leads into a forest road. It rises continuously slightly and gradually becomes narrower. The middle section through the beautiful forest over Höheggen to the Steigwald offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and down into the imposing Zügenschlucht. In the gorge, the path leads along the old train road along the Landwasser to Wiesen Station. The five-minute detour to the Wiesner Viaduct, the second highest bridge in the Rhaetian Railway network, is worthwhile and offers another perspective on the Zug Gorge. With the RhB you are quickly back in Davos.
