Skitour von Splügen auf das Mittagshorn (WS)

The ski tour to the Mittaghorn leads through a first-class touring area in the Rhine Forest with a wide range of possibilities in different levels of difficulty. The ascent begins at the upper parking lot of the Splügen Tambo cable cars (beginning of the pass road). From there you first follow the hiking trail that leads you through the forest, then further south through open terrain to the Rietboda. The trail continues to the lake hut and along the Suretta lakes to point 2302. Follow the small valley until you reach point 2542, the end point of the tour. Many linger here before the descent, as the official summit is almost at the same altitude and sometimes even drops slightly. The descent is along the ascent route. Please note the wildlife rest area on the eastern side of the Fugschtwald!
