Beschreibung
From Rossa you gradually climb south-southeast, keeping above the cliff that extends to the Rià del Frott, which then descends suddenly giving life to the beautiful waterfall in front of Augio. Continue left along the Rià di Frott towards Carnalta, in the Valle de l'ör. You cross the Bosch de Calvaresc and then reach the Alp de Calvaresc Sot at 1837m. Here is the junction: on the left the path leads us towards the Lac de Cavaresc while on the right it leads us with a slight climb to the Buffalora hut, located at 2100 meters above sea level under the homonymous pass.
Ausrüstung
Never underestimate the mountain. Even for the easiest tours with seal skins we strongly recommend bringing all the safety material. Shovel, probe, ARVA and possibly the backpack with flotation device should be part of the equipment of every ski mountaineer.
