A ski tour from Mathon to the Maiensässhütten in Dros and then over the border line to the Parpeinahorn with a breathtaking view of the Schams and Domleschg.

Beschreibung
From the car park in Mathon (1547 m) to the Maiensässhütten in Dros (1872 m). Then via Pro da Peadra and via the south-east ridge to the ridge. Last stretch on the ridge to the summit (2602 m). The descent follows the ascent route.
Geheimtipp
A drink and a sausage from the grill on the way down to the toboggan bar, along the Dros - Mathon/Lohn winter hiking trail.

Mathon can be reached by PostBus. The bus stop is located directly at the starting point. Further information on the timetable can be found on the SBB website: www.sbb.ch.
Anreise Information
Coming from the north (Thusis) on the A13 after the Viamala gorge, leave the highway at the exit "Zillis / Andeer". Then turn right before Zillis towards Mathon/Lohn/Wergenstein and follow the road up the mountain. From the south (San Bernardino), leave the A13 motorway at the Andeer exit. Take the cantonal road to Zillis and follow the signs Mathon/Lohn/Wergenstein up the mountain.
