Senda Sagogn

Sagogn was already inhabited in the Bronze Age and was the ecclesiastical center of the region in the Middle Ages. Witnesses of this period are the 13th-century Casti Aspermont, as well as the 5th-century Catholic Church. We invite you to visit our village during a walk on the SENDA SAGOGN. On nine information boards you will learn a lot of interesting things about the village. What does the word Sagogn mean? What is a "Pistrin"? Which extended family lives in the Reformed church in the summer? Why does the "Via Cochetta" (coquettish street) have this name? You can get answers to such questions and much more. From the Senda Sagogn you can add a detour to the ruin Schiedberg, to the ruins of the former Mulin commercial estate in Val Mulin or to the viewing platform Crap Signina. There you will also find information boards with interesting information.

After a short stretch through the village, we will ascend to Bregl, the elevated plain on the eastern edge of Sagogn. There are two sun loungers where you can relax and enjoy the nature and the beautiful view of the surrounding area. Then it goes back over runs to the village back to the nearest sights.
