SEGNES TREK - Etappe 1: Reichenau - Ringelspitzhütte SAC

The start of the Segnes Trek is in Reichenau-Tamins. You can easily take the Rhaetian Railway to the starting point at 604 m. There are also few parking spaces at the station and the maximum parking time is 7 days.  From the train station you cross the Rhine. Because a few meters above the bridge, the Hinterrhein and the Vorderrhein meet and become the Alpine Rhine. After the bridge, walk past Reichenau Castle and follow the signs to Tamin's village. From Tamins it goes only on a forest road in the direction of Kunkelspass. However, the trail branches off at some point and leads uphill through a green tunnel for about two hours. On the level of Kunkelspass you are no longer completely alone – there is the excursion restaurant "Überuf" with delicious food.  From the Kunkelspass you can already see the day's destination: The Ringelspitzhütte.  The path now becomes promising, and as soon as you have passed the Grossalp, you can already smell the cake of the Ringelspitzhütte. 

On the level of the Kunkelspass lies the wonderful excursion restaurant "Überuf" and an information room on the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona.
