The route starts from the village of San Bernardino and runs along the beautiful Moesa river, continuing along the San Remo forest that surrounds the Sports Center, where in summer you can practice various sports activities including tennis, beach volleyball and mini golf. Continue along Lake Isola and descend towards Pian San Giacomo through meadows and fir trees. You can return to San Bernardino through the Valley of Silence. On the path you will soon find Alpe Piandoss, where hospitality and good food are at home. Afterwards, the descent begins along the slopes of Pian Cales, circling the ski lifts, where the melody of the bell of grazing cows will branch out into the air.

San Bernardino can be reached from both the north and the south by rail and postbus (from the north: Zurich - Chur train, later PostBus; from the south: Chiasso - Bellinzona train, later PostBus).
Direct routes connect the Moesano to the capital of Ticino, Bellinzona, and to the capital of the canton of Graubünden, Chur.

Thanks to the motorway connections from the north A3 Zurich - Sargans and A13 Sargans - San Bernardino and from the south A2 Chiasso - Bellinzona and A13 Bellinzona - San Bernardino, the village is easily accessible throughout the year.
