Rundwanderung Vella - Triel - Vella

From the post office, passing the Sogn Roc chapel, you will go up to the upper edge of the village of Vella. Shortly after the last farm, the natural road branches off in the direction of Triel. At Nulens, the path crosses the forest and then continues as a hiking trail through the Uaul quad. Once at the edge of the forest, carefully step out of the forest, then with a little luck you can watch the marmots on the alpine pasture. Continue towards the Triel middle station, from where you have a magnificent view of the whole Val Lumnezia.

The way back starts with a short stretch on the paved road in the direction of Crusch. At the Maiensässhütten "Treis aclas", which means as much as the three Maiensässe, the hiking trail begins on the left side. After just a few minutes, the path crosses a natural road. Follow the road in a left direction to the Maiensässhütten below the middle station. From there, a hiking trail leads down the pastures towards Trutg and Vella.

In July and August, the Triel mountain restaurant is open.
