Rundtour Feldis - Dreibündenstein (GR 5)

This trail from Feldis to the Dreibündenstein and back – leads over the gentle and panoramic plateau around the Dreibündenstein. At the boundary stone of the former three Rhaetian frets, a unique panoramic view of the mountains of Graubünden, e.B. the majestic Piz Beverin, the Tödi, the Calanda Group and even the Glarus Alps can be admired.

Clearly visible at the opposite Ringelspitz and up to the Flims Mountains (Segnes, Tschingelhörner): the mountain overthrust of the UNESCO World Heritage Site «Tectonic Arena Sardona». In this area, the processes of Alpine formation are particularly well recognizable. The central element is the razor-sharp line of the Glarus main overthrust, an area where older rock was pushed over the younger material during the formation of the Alps.

On the descent, the trail runs along idyllic landscapes past the Alp dil Plaun back to the mountain station of the Feldis-Mutta chairlift, which takes you comfortably back to Feldis.
