The two villages are located on the left side of the Surses, Riom at about 1250 m above sea level and Parsonz about 100 meters higher.
Beschreibung
A prominent point in the landscape of the lower Surs (Sot Gôt) is the castle of Riom - its nightly lighting seems to warm the entire village. The village church, consecrated to St. Laurentius, is the oldest church in the valley.

By train/bus: From Zurich to Chur with the SBB, then with the Rhaetian Railway or the Postbus to Tiefencastel and then with the Postbus via Cunter to Riom.
By car: From Basel - Zurich via Chur - Thusis - Tiefencastel, continue in the direction of Savognin. Drive to Cunter (turn right) to Riom.
