Mountain bivouac located near the homonymous Pizzo, above the village of Rossa. Located along the Calanca Alpine Trail, it offers an ideal stopping point for hikers.

RESERVATION IS REQUIRED
A small bivouac on the Calanca Alpine Trail with gas stove, dishes, 7 beds, woolen blankets and mattresses, running water in front of the entrance, no heating.
The Ganan Refuge is generally quieter than the Pian Grand Refuge, and is located in a very special, very arid and wild mountain landscape. In this bivouac here you have to squeeze in if you have to share the kitchen, the small dining room and the bedroom.
The hut guarantees a grandiose view to the bottom of the Val Calanca and a panorama at the summit with the sun until the end of the evening - an alpine experience that will be remembered.

Anfahrt
Access to the cottage from the village of San Bernardino about 8 and a half hours (via Pian Grand, Trescolmen).
From Valbella about 4 and a half hours (via Alp Largé, Bocchetta de Büschenel).
From Rossa, Lagh de Calvaresc, Piz Ganan about 5 and a half hours.
From the Buffalora Refuge via the Alpine Trail about 3.0 hours.
Tour options in the area - Cima di Gagela 2805 m a.s.l. small climb, 2–3 hours.
In case of bad weather, you should not go directly down to the valley to the Rossa. This path is difficult to find and very dangerous. The best option is to continue along the Piz Ganan Trail to Alp Calvarec Desora and descend via Alp Calvarec Sot to Rossa.
