Beschreibung
The Reuss rises in the Gotthard massif in the southwest of the canton of Uri and flows after 164 kilometers at Windisch and Gebenstorf in the canton of Aargau as a right tributary into the Aare. It is its largest and longest tributary.
Four-Source Way
The third stage of the Four Springs Trail leads from the Gotthard Pass into Val Bedretto to Capanna Piansecco. The headwaters are located in a wetland below the Passo Lucendro.
