Piz Fess 2880m, der Stolze

You start at the Tenna church and follow the Walserweg in the direction of Tenner Alp. The trail winds its way through lush meadows above Tenna to the upper huts. Here the path separates from the Tenner Alpweg and leads south into the Tälli. One last grandiose look back at Tenna and a change to another world ensues. The path becomes narrow and the terrain very steep, no sign of civilization until the Tällihütte (alpine hut, no overnight stay of food possible), where the landscape becomes more open again. After crossing the Tällibach, the trail climbs steeply for about an hour to the Schneeböda and continues the last stretch over a plateau to the south to the highest point. The summit is hardly recognizable as such, in contrast to the evil Fess, which sits directly and seemingly invincibly next to it. But we limit ourselves to the normal summit, because the "bad guy" has also earned his name. The descent follows the same route.
