Pippi Longstocking

Pippi Longstocking is nine years old, has freckles and red hair with protruding braids. She is self-confident and lives with Little Uncle, her horse, and Mr. Nilsson, her monkey, in Villa Villekulla, without adults taking care of her. Her friends are the well-adjusted neighbor children Tommy and Annika, who go on adventures under Pippi's guidance.
