Hiking break high above the Oberalpstrasse
Beschreibung
Where the railway line of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn used to run around the Piz Calmot on the outside, a comfortable hiking trail has been created. Along the way there is a massive picnic table where you can sit down just to rest and enjoy the view, or to have an extensive picnic. A fire can also be made in a stone circle right next to the table, but you have to bring your own wood.
When leaving the pitch, make sure that the fire has burned down. It has no creek or fountain nearby. There are also no shady spots.
The course can be reached from Oberalppass in about 30 minutes on foot
