History
First documentary mention in 1185 as Capella de Selaunes. The Patrozinium is designated in 1518 with St. George and Scholastica. In 1630 the church was rededicated with an altar in honor of the Virgin Mary and the martyrs George and Sebastian. The present church dates back to a new building completed in 1671. Last renovation in 1904.

The geostete complex consists of the retracted, three-sided closed choir and a relatively wide nave, which tapers by one meter to the depth. Above the choir is a barrel adapted to the polygon by half dome with stitch caps made of masonry. The lighting takes place in the choir through stitch arch windows. In the north face of the ship through Oculi. Doors with straight lintel.
The tower stands in front of the western front. Below light slits, on the top floor coupled arched windows. The timbered bell room crowned by an octagonal pointed helmet.
Wall paintings: On the south side of the tower a representation of the commandment of the holiday commemoration, 14th century. On the west side epiphany image (around 1515). Disappeared murals. During the restoration work, the fragment of a picture of Christophorus came to light on the west side of the tower.
equipment
Three wooden altars. The high altar from the time of the new building of 1671. The altar underwent a revision in 1760 and on this occasion received the attached rocaille ornaments as well as the two small statuettes of female saints in front of the columns of the main floor. The side altars are composed as counterparts, 1675. Simple pulpit, around 1770. Choir stalls, 1671.
Cult devices and paraments: Two Gothic monstrances, 1450. Chalices, 1650.Four
bells cast in 1932, by F. Hamm in Staad. Two of the former bells are kept in the schoolhouse, 14th and 15th centuries.
