The tour begins in Penza and leads through the wildly romantic Val d'Err, which has a great variety of plants and animals. From the end of June to the beginning of August, the fire lilies and the Turks' League bloom by the hundreds on the path between Bartg and the Motta d'Err, a real feast for the eyes. The route continues past whistling marmots and via Parsettens to Furschela da Colm to Piz Colm with a breathtaking view. This is followed by a lunar-like environment over the Falotta to the beautiful Alp Flix: a jewel created in the 14th century by the Walsers and often referred to as a treasure island of biodiversity. As a moorland of national importance, Alp Flix is protected.
From the end of June to October, the Alpin bus runs from Sur, Postplatz up to Alp Flix. Penza can be reached by bike and hiking bus or by car. Further information can be found under the heading "Arrival".

Penza can be reached on Tuesdays and Fridays from the end of June to mid-October by bike and hiking bus. The bus must be reserved at the tourist office in Savognin by the evening before. Tel. +41 81 659 16 16.
The hiking bus stop is located directly next to the ticket office building of the Savognin mountain railways or behind the Savognin tourist office.
From Alp Flix you can take the Alpin bus to Sur, from where you have a connection to the post bus.
Anreise Information
From Chur to Tiefencastel and to Savognin. If you use the hiking bus to get to Pensa, it is best to park at the parking lot of the Savognin Bergbahnen.

Penza can also be reached by car. A driving/parking permit is required to drive on the alpine road from Tinizong to Penza. Only the officially signposted parking spaces may be used.
