A beautiful hike that leads to the San Bernardino Pass. It starts from the village of San Bernardino at 1608 meters above sea level and reaches the 2065 meters of the Pass.

The departure is scheduled from the village of San Bernardino (Moesa or Hostel parking, with parking meter) to head towards the mineral spring and from there continue climbing towards the Gareida area (road to the left of the Albarella complex). At the junction of Gareida, take the path that continues straight, which leads along the old Roman paved road until you reach the top of the Pass, where a breathtaking view stands out before your eyes. During the summer season, the San Bernardino Pass Hospice is operational with a catering offer.

Both from the north and from the south, the Moesano can be reached by rail and postbus connections (from the north: Zurich - Chur train, later postbus; from south: Chiasso - Bellinzona train, later postbus).
Direct routes connect the Moesano to the capital of Ticino, Bellinzona, and to the capital of the canton of Graubünden, Chur.
