Beschreibung

The route starts from the center of the village and passes by the mineral spring of San Bernardino, whose water was already known in Roman times for its peculiarities and its healing properties. Continue through the forest of Pescion, a dialect term that means large "pescia", or spruce. Continue walking on the old Roman paved road until you reach the top of the San Bernardino Pass, located at 2065 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy a priceless view of the entire valley. Shortly after, you reach the enchanting Lake Moesola, the source of the Moesa river that crosses the entire territory of Moesano.  You can take a break and admire the wonderful view at the Hospice Restaurant.  The route continues along the pass road, passing through Gereida and returning to San Bernardino Paese.
