Beschreibung

From the Kartitscha mountain station, the panorama trail leads over the terrace of Obersaxen to the east in the direction of Piz Mundaun. The route offers breathtaking views of the mountain scenery of Brigels as well as the peaks of the Obersaxen Mundaun snow sports area. In Untermatt there is the possibility to visit Leo's Snackbar. Via Gischniga you will then reach the mountain inn Cuolm Sura, right next to the children's area. A short descent would take you to Surcuolm. However, we recommend that you continue the hike at this altitude so as not to miss the magnificent view over the Ilanz plain and the Rhine Gorge. The path now continues to the historic mountain restaurant Bündner Rigi. Passing the Sogn Carli chapel, you enter the Val Lumnezia. Return journey from Morissen or Vella via Ilanz by post bus.

Geheimtipp

Kartitscha can be reached by chairlift from Meierhof. Alternatively, from Misanenga, take the winder trail no. 2 up to Untermatt, or no. 3 to Gischniga.

Sicherheitshinweis

In case of uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are common. If a bad weather front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

Ausrüstung

Catering with a hot drink, high and sturdy hiking boots or winter boots, warm clothing, sun protection, hiking poles are an advantage.
